Different types of tea can have different health effects. American “Medical Journal” recently summed up their different effects.
1.Black tea can fresh breath
According to research in the US Pacific School of Medicine, black tea contain polyphenols, which can stop the growth of oral bacteria and thus reduce the accumulation of plaque. Indian researchers have found that these polyphenols can even play a role in the prevention of oral cancer.
2.Green tea is good for the heart
Green tea has a wide range of health benefits, from preventing cancer to improve mental health and so on. The results of a study published in the “Journal of the American Medical Association” showed that, drinking green tea can reduce the risk of people dying of various diseases, including heart disease.
3.Oolong tea can thin waist
The traditional Chinese medicine theory holds that drinking oolong tea can reduce body fat, the available scientific evidence confirms the theory. Oolong tea contains catechins can speed up the metabolic rate, allowing the body to burn calories and fat much faster and efficiently.
